By using our website at any URL associated with Clarity Resume Studio, submitting an inquiry form, placing an order, or engaging our services in any capacity, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. These Terms apply to all visitors, clients, and others who access or use our website and services.

2. Description of Services

Clarity Resume Studio provides professional career document writing and coaching services, including but not limited to:

Resume Writing Services: Creation of new resumes or comprehensive rewrites of existing resumes, tailored to the client's industry, experience level, and target roles. LinkedIn Profile Optimization: Rewriting and optimizing the client's LinkedIn profile for maximum visibility in recruiter searches.

Cover Letter Writing: Creation of personalized cover letters for general use or specific job applications.

Career Coaching: One-on-one coaching sessions covering interview preparation, job search strategy, salary negotiation, and career planning.

All services are provided remotely via email and video conferencing. We reserve the right to modify, add, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice. Service descriptions and pricing on our website represent our current offerings and are subject to change.

3. Client Responsibilities

To receive our services, you agree to the following responsibilities:

Accurate Information: You agree to provide complete, accurate, and truthful information about your work history, education, skills, and professional background. Clarity Resume Studio is not responsible for documents created based on inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you.

Timely Responses: You agree to respond to our questions and revision requests in a timely manner. Delays in providing requested information may extend your project timeline. We are not liable for missed application deadlines resulting from your delayed responses.

Appropriate Use: The career documents we create for you are intended for your personal use in legitimate job search activities. You agree not to use our documents for fraudulent purposes, to misrepresent your qualifications, or to violate any applicable laws.

Intake Questionnaire: You agree to complete our intake questionnaire thoroughly. The quality of your final documents is directly related to the quality and completeness of the information you provide.

4. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment for your order, Clarity Resume Studio grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the career documents created for you for personal, non-commercial job search purposes.

Ownership of Work Product: While we retain copyright in the writing style, structure, and format of our documents, the factual content of your resume (your work history, accomplishments, and credentials) belongs to you. You may freely use, edit, and distribute your completed documents for personal career advancement purposes.

Website Content: All content on the Clarity Resume Studio website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and service descriptions, is the exclusive property of Clarity Resume Studio and is protected by United States copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our website content without our express written permission.

Sample Documents: Any sample resumes, LinkedIn profiles, or other documents displayed on our website are provided for illustrative purposes only. You may not copy or reproduce these samples.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is required before we begin work on your project, unless a specific payment arrangement has been agreed upon in writing.

Pricing: Our current service prices are listed on our website. All prices are in United States Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price in effect at the time your order is confirmed.

Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as indicated at checkout. Payment is processed through secure third-party payment processors.

Taxes: Prices may be subject to applicable sales tax depending on your location and the nature of the services purchased. Any applicable taxes will be disclosed at checkout.

Failed Payments: If your payment is declined or reversed, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your order until payment is received. You are responsible for any fees associated with failed or disputed payments.

6. Revisions and Delivery

Standard Delivery: Unless otherwise specified, completed documents will be delivered to your email address within 3-5 business days of receiving your completed intake questionnaire and full payment.

Rush Delivery: Rush delivery (24-48 hours) is available for an additional fee. Rush orders must be explicitly confirmed by our team before they are guaranteed.

Revision Policy: All services include unlimited revisions within 14 calendar days of the initial delivery date. Revisions must be based on the original scope of work and the information provided in your intake questionnaire. Requests for entirely new document directions, significant scope changes, or revisions requested after the 14-day window may be subject to additional fees.

Delivery Format: Documents are delivered in Microsoft Word (.docx) and PDF formats unless otherwise requested.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Clarity Resume Studio makes no guarantees regarding specific employment outcomes. While our services are designed to improve your chances of securing interviews and job offers, we cannot guarantee that you will receive job interviews, job offers, salary increases, or any other specific career outcome as a result of using our services.

Our website and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that our website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Clarity Resume Studio, its owner, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business opportunities, or any other commercial or economic loss, arising out of or in connection with your use of our services or website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

9. Confidentiality

We understand that the career information you share with us is personal and sensitive. We treat all client information with strict confidentiality. We will not disclose your personal information, career history, or the content of your documents to any third party without your explicit consent, except as required by law or as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may use anonymized, aggregated information (with all personally identifiable information removed) for internal quality improvement and marketing purposes, such as describing the types of clients we serve or the industries we work in.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, or validity thereof shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, the parties agree to submit the dispute to binding arbitration in Stanislaus County, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
